PED V2.3
Sourcetext Editor
PED is FREEWARE and © copyright 1992 by Frank Wille. Commercial usage of
this program, without written permission of the author, is strictly
forbidden !
Short Instruction
=================
Start PED by entering the command line:
PED [<filename>] [<line>] [<-Options>]
PED will open <filename> and displays the text, beginning with line <line>
on the screen. If <line> is not specified, PED displays the text beginning
with the first line. When <filename> is not specified, the file name is
assumed to be "Unnamed.txt".
The following options are possible:
-k<keymap id> to specify another keymap (e.g. -kd for the German keymap).
By default, the actually active keymap will be used.
-t must be declared if you do not want that blanks will be
changed to TABs while saving the text.
-b<size> to specify the KBytes of RAM you wish to allocate for the
text buffer. By default PED will allocate half of the
largest RAM space.
Press the HELP-key while running the editor to get an overview about all
CTRL- and cursor-functions possible.
Press the ESC-key to quit PED without saving the text.
If any questions or errors (e.g. OS 2.0 incompatibility) occur, please
write to:
